Human marriage - brides, grooms, and wedding celebrations are a metaphor for our real life which is intimacy with the Triune God of grace. We, the church, are Christs bride! Our union with him, as disciples and a church, is our certain future which we can prepare for now and look forward to with eager anticipation.
