Christians enter into a relationship with God simply though faith. So, what does it take to be a good Christian? According to the Apostle Paul, it is not by adhering to the Jewish laws found in the Torah, but simply through faith. But, what is it that we are to do if we as Christians are not required to follow the "Jewish law?" According to Paul it is through the "Fruits of the Spirit," love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. And, as Christians, since we are not bound by Jewish law, this does not give us a license to such behaviors as idolatry, hatred, angry outbursts,, envy, drunkenness, and other such behaviors. So, how are we being fruitful today? How have we (you and I) incorporated the fruits of the spirit into our lives?
