In this sermon we are reminded that in the events of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit brings to life the Church in much the same way the breath of God animates "man" in Genesis. The new harvest of souls harvested by the work of the Holy Spirit coincides with the beginning of the Summer Harvest celebrated in the Jewish "Festival of Weeks," in which there is a great variety, foreshadows God's desire that all nations, languages and people share in the Good News of Jesus Christ, who is was the "First Fruit" of the Resurrection. The sermon is followed by the Offertory Prayer given by Rev. Mike Daniell and the Piano Offertory, "Ava Maria," played by Mrs. LuAnn Latzanich.
