When I was riding rough stock, there were times that I rode with no joy, excitement or expectancy of doing well. When that was the case, it was obvious in my performance. Instead of meeting each challenge with energy and the aggressiveness that it required....I was just "hanging on" and listening for the whistle. I realized that we can live our Christian life with the same attitude. Life knocks us down a few times and the pain of that knock down is intense. Without realizing it, we can do just what I did when riding bulls....we just "go through the motions" of life. We tell ourselves we've gotten "wiser".....but in reality....we've simply quit living with an expectancy of good. Be renewed. Be encouraged. Dust yourself off and come back into the game with a PASSION!!
