Suppose you visit someone in their home, and at precisely 8:42pm they stop and read a note about the man who rescued them from behind enemy lines 20 years earlier. We’d say that is pretty special. Suppose they stopped / “celebrated” the very minute they bought their shoes. We would think that is weird, and that shoes are very important to that person.
