Today's color is black. It's not the most festive color. In fact, it can be downright depressing. If you're like me, the gifts are unwrapped, the parties are over, and now it's time to clean up the mess. Sure New Year's Day is Thursday, but Michigan isn't even in a bowl this year (except the toilet bowl!). The Christmas lights are off, the joyful songs are off the radio, and we have a long, hard winter ahead of us…along with such wonderful economic prospects. Ugh! It's easy for life to get really dark about now.
