We consider one of the many things that keeps us from following Jesus: not taking sin as seriously as we should. Our sins may seem small to us, but even the smallest sin is an abomination to God. We are encouraged to repent of every sin, remembering how evil and dangerous even the least sin is. Even small sins are infinitely serious; but if we will turn from our sins to Christ, they will be forgiven and we will find mercy.
