It’s true that the Holy Spirit’s power helps us improve our personal relationship with God. Not only that, our relationships in the world improve too, we become better workers, spouses, moms and dads. But the Bible says that when the Holy Spirit gives us spiritual gifts there is one main reason for it. We are gifted to love, serve and care for the common good of the church.
