Perhaps you have heard people say that they want to live a Spirit-led life. The scriptures plainly declare that the power of the Holy Spirit working in the life of the believer will lead us into truth, destiny, and abundance - if we listen and obey. This idea is rooted in Biblical truth and is the heart of God towards His sheep. However, without a clear understanding of how to hear the voice of the Shepherd and the establishment of some pre-determined non-negotiable standards, well-meaning people can begin to live a life of subjectivity to ideas not rooted in the heart of God and miss one of the benefits of Kingdom life. A look at the scriptures offers the believer some hope, truth, and also some guidelines which will aid in learning the hear His voice so that we might truly be "led by the Spirit of God," and be called "sons of God" (Romans 8:14)
