According to Plato, "Necessity is the mother of invention." We have proven his words to be true evidenced by the unending flow of ideas to resolve and repair the problems of our world. But ideas are nothing more than a brainstorm of ways that we might meet the need of the day. When God calls us to Himself, He does so for a very specific purpose, to do something great through us. If we give ourselves fully to Him, we can't help but see the pains and struggles of our world as something more than an opportunity to come up with a great idea. God births in us a burden that so messes with us that we have to be a part of it.
