Jesus gathered His disciples at the last meal that He would with them before His arrest and crucifixion. He had a great deal to say to His closest followers. He wanted to let them know some things about God, Himself and also about them. In the process, Jesus talks about who He is. He makes the statement, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”
