JESUS PRAYS FOR ANOTHER WAY Jesus needs to pray Everyone needs someone who will stand with them in prayer. In Godâ€"s family we canâ€"t carry one anotherâ€"s burdens (Galatians 6:5) Those who have put their faith and trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord sustain a similar, intimate relationship with God as Father, see Romans 8:15. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. We may have the best of intentions, but apart from the Lord we can do nothing. So pray!! THERE IS NO OTHER WAY Jesusâ€" actions encourage us to persevere in prayer while challenging us to submit to Godâ€"s will. Because there is no other way to rescue us from our sin Jesus willingly goes to the cross. Understanding the sacrifice He willingly makes for us, what should we do in response?
