It’s because of these who have made such great sacrifice that we can freely and openly serve God without fear of persecution. We should not forget that our country was founded on the idea of religious freedom for all and many have given their lives to ensure we continue to have that liberty. Regardless of your personal thoughts on the current battles we are engaged in we need to continue to pray for God’s protection on those who proudly wear the uniform of the United States. Furthermore, we should pray that the Christian military personnel serving in foreign lands can be a light to those who may have never heard the gospel. I have talked with several missionaries from other countries where the Bible we enjoy is illegal yet they continue to share God’s word in underground churches and online risking imprisonment or even death. As Christians we should have a deeper understanding of freedom. It is because of Christ and His sacrifice that we are free from the condemnation of sin. Thank you veterans and those currently serving our country, thank you for the freedoms we enjoy.

John 15:13
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
