Revelation 14:14-20 --- The pause in Revelation from the 7th trumpet is almost over. This last part of Chapter 14 shoots forward with an overview of the last part of the Tribulation. The harvest is in many ways a double harvest. The ripe grapes are on the verge of turning rotten they are so ripe. This is NOT the harvest of believers. This harvest like Joel 3:13 is the harvest of the wicked to be harvested and thrown into the winepress of the final wrath of God. For more details on this overview we must wait until Chapter 19. This is NOT the Rapture of the church for this harvest concerns unbelievers, especially those who have not helped the Jews during the Tribulation. These are the ones who turn on the Jews, these are the ones who hate the Jews and hate God. The actual wrath, "the wrath" began when that first seal was broken, therefore, "the wrath" is the complete 7 years of Tribulation or the "Birth Pangs" or the "Times of Jacobs Trouble" and many other terms. Remember the reason for "the Tribulation" is to deal mainly with the Jews again. This last half of Daniels 70th week will be horrible. The church will NOT go through this last half nor the first half for we were taken out of the way back in 4:1. The harvest here is judgment, not rapture.
