Acts 26, Paul Before Agrippa. LJK

The gospel ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ was given to the Congregation that He organized during His earthly ministry. Her members spread out from Jerusalem and other Congregations of like faith and order were organized. The doors of grace were open to the entire world, Jews and Gentiles alike. The Apostle Paul was a special minister sent out by the Gentile Congregation in Antioch Syria. We have studied all his missionary journeys. We find him in this chapter giving his last public discourse before going as a prisoner to Rome. His audience here is some very important and influential people in the Roman Empire and Paul made a supreme effort to give a clear and distinct declaration of the gospel before he left Palestine forever. Consider three points in this chapter. Paul tells of his testimony before conversion. Acts 26:1-11. Paul tells of his salvation and commission. Acts 26:12-27. Paul hears Agrippa’s response. Acts 26:28-32. Conclusion: Let God grant a burden and passion for souls to us as He did the Apostle Paul. Let us be surrendered to do the will of God no matter what the circumstances we find ourselves in or how difficult things may be. Are you truly saved? Repent and believe the gospel. If you are saved, confess Christ, follow Him in Biblical immersion, and serve Him in one of His true New Testament congregations. AMEN.
