Acts 25, Paul Before Festus.

In the last chapter, Felix had kept Paul in prison as a favor to the Jews but after two years, the authorities removed Felix from office and replaced him with Festus. The Paul haters in Jerusalem lobbied to get him sent back to Jerusalem where they had a plot to kill him but Festus decided to hear the case in Caesarea. This was all in the providence of God and Paul appealed to Caesar whereby he was to be sent to Rome as Jesus had promised him in a vision back in Acts 23:11. We notice three things in this chapter
