There is quite a bit of plotting and pondering and manipulating that goes on all around us. It happens in politics, it happens in the office, it happens on the Little League field, it happens in the orchestra, and everywhere else. Yet, in the earliest days of the church, it doesn't resort to doing these things to fill the position left open by Judas' death. Instead, the early church something amazing, the trusted God. What a concept!
